VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The 2020 conferences will be held 100% online where authors submit a video of their presentation. Preparing a video of a presentation is actually very simple using modern software. After you submit your paper and get approval you will ultimately need to submit a video of your presentation.
Strategy #1: Use Screencastomatic.com (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)
Screencastomatic is very easy and can be fully free if your presentation is under 15 minutes. You pay a very small annual fee to have a longer presentation. You prepare a visual of your presentation (i.e. Powerpoint). You then turn on Screencastomatic. It allows you to define exactly what part of your screen you want captures as a video (i.e. powerpoint slide). You then press record and present as normal. The software turns your screen into a video and captures your audio, resulting in an MP4 video that can easily be submitted via email or wetransfer.com
Strategy #2: Zoom video
Zoom is a very popular software to setup meetings. It also allows you to make a presentation and capture the presentation as a video that you can then share.
Strategy #3: PowerPoint Video
You can add audio clips to each slide in powerpoint to produce a 'video' with audio of your presentation.
Strategy #4: Cell Phone
You can very easily setup a selfie video using any computer, cell or pad device. You can then simply present in front of the device and capture your presentation.
Strategy #5: Camtasia
Many universities has camtasia subscriptions. This is an excellent way, similar to screencastomatic.com, to capture your screen and audio to produce a video.
Video Submission
Most of the videos will be less than 25mb and should easily fit as an attachment to an email. However, the ideal and free method to submit is to use wetransfer.com. This is the easiest solution and offers no maximum file size. It is a great way to submit any file to someone without having to submit a share link to the cloud.
