WBM 2020 / Human Resource Management - Online Conference
October 3, 2020
WBM 2020 / Human Resource Management is a specialized 100% online conference focused on issue of Human Resource Management. We are open to submissions of full papers, abstracts, research notes, and teaching tools. This is not our first conference focused on Human Resource Management as we have had five other HR conferences in both North and South Lake Tahoe.
Our registration page is also up here: CLICK HERE
Deadline:
Paper/Abstract Submission Deadline: September 21, 2020
The conference takes place 100% online using an asynchronous format. Our goal is to take the papers from this conference and publish them in a special Wine Business Resarch issue of the Journal of Business Management & Change. You don't want to miss out on this opportunity to publish in a peer-reviewed Cabell's 'white-listed' journal.
The advantage of an asynchronous conference is that is allows you to prepare your video presentation under your own clock. When you are happy with it we upload for viewing. Also, this allows attendees the time to watch all other presentations when they are able. We will set it up so that feedback and public/direct communications is easy between presenter and viewer.
Research Topics:
We are accepting papers/abstracts in the following areas:
Submission Format:
We give rapid responses to conference submissions (typically averaging 5 days). Either an abstract, working paper, or full paper is sufficient for presentation consideration in the conference. Many past attendees ultimately submitted research notes or full papers to be considered in one of the four conference journals. You are not required to submit the full paper for presentation. We are known as a great conference to test out early research and receive supportive and friendly feedback.
We will accept papers and abstracts in electronic form:
1) Full papers - no page limitations
2) Abstracts - no limit on submission; final published draft of abstract cannot be more than 500 words when it is published in the program, but may be of any length for conference submission.
3) Research Notes - no limit; Research notes are good for ongoing research or research that may benefit from more feedback and guidance.
Please choose from the paper topics to the right. You may choose more than one topic area as needed.
Submissions should be submitted electronically to wbmconference@yahoo.com.
Submission Guidelines
Electronic submissions are strongly encouraged. Electronic submissions or abstracts and summaries should be in Rich-text-format (RTF), PDF, plain text (TXT) or Microsoft Word format. If an author has need of special symbols that are likely to display incorrectly in a electronic submission please send an additional version of the documents in Adobe Acrobat format (i.e. PDF) with fonts embedded. Our ultimate requirement for journal submission is MS WORD format. You can submit in PDF but will ultimately need to be converted to TXT or WORD format for consideration in our journals.
Abstract Preparation
Please include the following within the body of the email:
1. Title
2. Author(s)
3. Affiliation
4. Text of Abstract (there is no limit on size. If you feel it conveys your research well...we likely agree!)
